Christmas Morning

Strike a Pose!

What's up with the orange?!

Christmas Eve

After we put on our Christmas Eve PJ's, sprinkled a little reindeer food on the front lawn, and put out truffles and milk for Santa we tracked the jolly elf on the computer for a few minutes. This was hilarious! Emma was frantic once she realized Santa was fast approaching. She couldn't get to bed fast enough!

We loved having Jean & Michelle with us over Christmas.

We Believe!

We just got home from the ward Christmas brunch. The girls have been on the front porch - they're trying to see reindeer on the church roof. Emma wanted to ask Santa for a Barbie computer and Abbie wanted lipgloss but in the sheer terror of the moment Emma asked for a doll and Abbie asked for a surprise. Emma left Santa's lap saying. "Mom, I asked for a doll and I don't even want a doll." Right now, they are both drafting a detailed correction letter .

SPARKLE

This morning Emma and I put on our artist hats and created this adorable gingerbread girl. Emma named her Sparkle. Kindergarten art homework really stretches me!

Love 'em

Today is one of those days that you wake up and remember how blessed you really are. These are some of my favorite blessings.

December Eve

Last night we rang in the month of December with our families' first annual December Eve party. We watched Elf, ate melt in your mouth peppermints and the girls slept under the Christmas Tree. This morning we woke up to a winter wonderland. It was all quite magical.

Thanksgiving In Idaho

Happy Thanksgiving!

We are in Idaho for Thanksgiving with the Stewarts. We've had plenty of fantastic food, good company, and lots of laughs. We all got ready for the day and realized that we didn't have to rush off somewhere, so we took a family picture (minus Dallin who was having a bottle).

Amy's so fine, I love her new hair color. It turns out she's a pretty fine bowler also. Check her out at the day's main event, the Turkey Bowl (below). Note to all our PETA friends: this turkey was protected from any harm or pain by being frozen solid and then wrapped in six layers of Walmart shopping bags and will be consumed as soon as we finish off his big brother (those leftovers are going fast).

We finished the day with a game of "see who can hold a wedding ring on your nose the longest". It ended in a stalemate with both the participants clamoring for their prize. They got another slice of pie!

Presenting once again, Dallin!

Ew!.............................Yeah!

Hmm.

I got my hair colored this weekend. When I got home Emma said "Hey, you are not my mommy". We're all adjusting to the new do.
I like it. - how 'bout you?

The Race Is On

So, after FHE we had a little fitness competition - girls against Daddy.
I wish I could do push-ups as fast as Abbie. :-)

The Witching Hour

This year our little witches seem to have
really grasped the true spirit of Halloween,
"Give me LOTS of candy!".

Pea in a Pod

This costume lasted just long enough for a picture.
He was not impressed, but he sure is cute.

Here is Dallin on his first day.

Under Pressure

We've succumbed to some positive peer pressure and decided to share our lives with you through a blog. The Davidson Diatribe will hopefully generate some smiles and giggles as we share our good times with the world. Posts will be coming soon...
