Stonehenge

I'm in the UK for business and had the opportunity to see a few sights before getting to work:

Stonehenge

Portchester Castle

Every cemetery deserves to have a haunted castle looming over it; it goes well with the crooked headstones.

From the top of the Keep - this view got me thinking that I ought to attend to some of those pending projects around the house before too many accumulate on the "to do" list.

At one point this castle housed 7,000 French Prisoners-of-war. It's a much happier (and I'm sure better-smelling) place today.

Work or fun!?! Those are some amazing pictures - some places we'd love to visit some day! Amy, your blog background - and little family thing at the bottom are GORGEOUS! Hope you are holding up on that end of things!

Ben, These pictures bring back so many memories. I served in Portsmouth for 6 months of my mission. That is a really really long time for sisters to be in one area. I can't tell you how many fun P-days we had playing hide and seek in that castle. It was awesome. Looks like you are having such a great time. Stonehenge is really incredible isn't it. I love England. I wish I could get back one of these decades. kelly

Ben, you sure know the meaning of "world traveler". We're glad it's not all work and no play. Your family loves you and misses you. Have a productive trip and safe journey home.

Ben, you make me so jealous. I really enjoyed England and hope to go back someday. I am glad that you get to experience some enjoyable moments while doing your job, makes up a little for the first week of every month. That is for you, not for Amy (sorry) I'll babysit so she can go sometime - I mean it. Love, Mom
