Springtime at the Zoo

In past years we've always baked ourselves going to the zoo in July or August, so this year we took advantage of a cool day in the 50's to go to Hogle Zoo.

Emma and Abbie seemed to really enjoy all the animals. However, on the ride home we asked them what their favorite part was and they said "Cotton Candy" in unison.

Notwithstanding Cotton Candy's allure, here's some evidence that Abbie really enjoys leopards, especially the kind that come up to the glass to look for tasty treats.

I've never seen the camels do anything in the past. This time however, being cooped up in the same pen together all winter long finally brought these two to a breaking point.

Emma does not measure up.

Unfortunately, I do.

Dallin enjoyed his time at the zoo too. He wasn't very impressed by the animals, but sure likes to get out with his "peeps".

Peace Out

So, so cute! Looks like the zoo was a blast. And Dallin in a sideways cap? Love it!

Looks like so much fun! Love the camel footage! That is the first time I've ever seen camels do anything but just stand there!

Cute pictures all around! Last year we did the zoo in October rather than July/August, so I'm with you on the non-baking stuff. :) I missed you today...where were you?

Wow- I've never seen a camel be so exciting. The picture of Dallin with his hat is the cutest. Love the kids sleeping too.

So Cute! The Zoo is quite the experience! Dallin is like a little gansta in that hat! The girls are too cute- The camels didn't give us a show at all!

We always go to the zoo in the heat of the summer! What a good idea.

All tuckered out. Aahhh. Now if my baby would just sleep like that! So sorry to hear about the RSV. Can we do anything to help? Bring you some good grub?
